I honestly prefer it this way gives you freedom while keeping the soul of the game for Saga mode. Def buy this game, dont even need to wait for a sale cause its so affordable. You basically create your own class, no need to unlock anything. And achievement hunting is an absolute treat as well. As far as viking/norse games go, you don't get more accurate to actual norse mythology lore than this. So bitfrost out and get your golden horns for a 'win'. So many builds to try, so many strategies to implement. Once Fimbulwinter happens, its impossible to defend Solo for long as the monsters keep coming and they will break the gates and you will run out of resources. It has had some of the most magical moments with me and my friends, its both chill and relaxing at times as well as stressful and epic at others. Now that that's out of the way, I GREATLY recommend this game. So I would recommend playing that first and the most. ![]() So this game was originally designed around the last stand format. It was only in and update did it become different and story based. ![]() I know that may sound backwards considering it's called story mode but that's not always been the case! When this game first came out last stand was actually the main mode and survival was just a very long drawn out version of it. This game is best played with last stand being the main mode as your mindest. Tribes of Midgard is a cooperative action video game produced by Norsfell Games and released by Gearbox Publishing in 2021 for PC, PS4, and PS5. To all newcomers and current players who struggle to like this game, if you read any of the bad reviews or play just the story mode I can assure you that you are not playing the game correctly. ![]()
